2011 has landed

Blog posted:7 January 2011

2011 at the Norwich Playhouse is going to kick off this week with performances from top swing band THE PASADENA ROOF ORCHESTRA and two shows from comedian, Grumpy Old Woman and I’m A Celebrity… jungle survivor JENNY ECLAIR. Tickets for these shows are almost gone but do try on the door for the last few remaining seats if you need an urgent post-Christmas pick-me-up.

Later on in the month we have music from 70’s pop icon KIKI DEE along with her new musical partner CARMELO LUGGERI, presenting a set which blends together the two artists’ work and influences from pop and rock to folk and soul.

Then we have a unique comedy show from comedian Deborah Frances-White intriguingly entitled HOW TO GET ALMOST ANYONE TO WANT TO SLEEP WITH YOU. The show is a hilarious blend of laughs and self-help direct from the West End which teaches you the secrets of being sexy, what the other sex is thinking, how a hat can help and, ultimately, how any man can be turned into James Bond.

Celebrate the genius of a legendary comedy music duo with FLANDERS AND SWANN: AT THE DROP OF A HIPPOPOTAMUS, the greatest Flanders and Swann tour since Flanders and Swann toured! Lifelong fans and the uninitiated alike can delight in classic comedy songs such as The Gnu, The Hippopotamus Song, The Gasman Cometh and Maderia M’Dear.
