Feeling Frisky or Mannish?

Blog posted:25 March 2011

Frisky and Mannish, the (in their own words) popmusicy-seriocomic-mashparodic-stereophonic-LOUD-vaudevillian-sketchcabaret-throwbackcurrent-oldfangled-newfashioned-bapsbotty-infotainment duo have been taking Edinburgh by storm over the past couple of years. They’ve taken their act all over the world, including London’s West End, Sydney’s Opera House, Singapore’s only comedy club, New York’s skankiest dives, Berlin’s politest lunchtime kabarett and The Slak Bar, Cheltenham.

Now they are headed to the Playhouse on Easter Monday 25th April. This week they were invited to the Scott Mills Radio show on BBC Radio 1 to give a sneeky taster of who they are and what they do. So check it out, laugh out loud and rush to the website to book your tickets!

To book tickets contact the box office on 01603 598598 or visit our website www.norwichplayhouse.co.uk to find out more information on this or any of our other shows.

DAVID MCALMONT COMES TO NORWICH

Blog posted:11 March 2011

If you want to hear a voice in a million, come and see David McAlmont here next Thursday (17 March) at 7.30pm.

David McAlmont has been described as having one of the best voices the UK has ever produced. His collaboration with Bernard Butler in the 90’s catapulted him into the main stream music scene with the hit single ‘Yes’. His live performances are flamboyant and theatrical, and we guarantee his voice will give you goosebumps.

He also does an amusing line in tweets, follow him on Twitter HERE.

For more information or to book tickets, go HERE.
