Blog posted:27 February 2012
Ah, what could be better for you than another bit of Herring? We have double helpings as Richard Herring brings his show What Is Love, Anyway? to the Playhouse for not one, but two nights, with the announcement of an extra night of comedy goodness on Thursday 19 April at 8pm.
Having sorted out religion (Christ on a Bike), politics (Hitler Moustache) and penises (Talking Cock), the recently engaged Richard Herring seeks to define and destroy love in this new show. Before love destroys him. Again.

Early Edition with Marcus Brigstocke and Andre Vincent
Blog posted:22 February 2012
If you are of the opinion that every page of your morning paper is filled with doom, destruction and downfall, well… we understand. The tabloids are telling us how everything is going wrong and there is nothing we can do about it. It must be true. The papers are always right. Well now comes a show that questions all those assumptions, a show that ridicules the naysayers, unravels the spin and pooh-poohs the pomposity of headline print.
The Early Edition is an excellent and legendary live comedy panel show hosted by Marcus Brigstocke & Andre Vincent – with guests. Marcus Brigstocke is a phenomenal talent who never fails to sell out when he comes to Norwich Playhouse and his team mate Andre Vincent is a local talent gone national, dividing his time between panto and comedy.
Together they have been the backbone of topical TV and Radio shows in Britain for the last 10 years… Credits include… The Late Edition (BBC) / Have I Got News For You (BBC) / Question Time (BBC) / Argumental (Dave) / News Knight (ITV) / The 11 O’Clock Show (Channel 4) / Andre Vincent – Hurrah for Cancer (BBC3) / The Now Show (BBC Radio 4) / The News Quiz (BBC RADIO 4) / The Show (Channel 4) / History of Offensive Humour (Channel 4) / You Must Be Joking (ITV) / The RDA (BBC) / Jerry Springer Show (ITV) and many more.
